Nadrina is a birth and postpartum doula and certified lactation counselor whose approach is grounded in close and active listening. Nadrina appreciates that each family comes to the experience with their own set of circumstances and values, and that as a result there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Her goal is to center your voice and provide you with the information and support you need to confidently make the decisions that are best for your family, whatever they may be.

Nadrina sees birth as a testament to the power of the mind, of the body, and sometimes of medicine. She is continually amazed by the process and honored to be a part of the experience. Nadrina has supported a wide variety of births, including unmedicated births, planned cesareans, inductions, and VBACs.

Nadrina lives in Prospect Heights with her roommates and her dog, Frank. In her free time, she enjoys long walks through the park with Frank and hosting dinner parties for friends. Prior to becoming a doula, Nadrina studied modern Middle Eastern history at Yale and worked in political and nonprofit consulting.

  • "Nadrina is the best! Smart, friendly and non-judgmental! We only had 1 meeting before I unexpectedly had to be induced, but I already felt so comfortable with Nadrina. She supported me at the hospital for more than 24 hours without any complaints! She was a great advocate for me to ensure I had the birth experience that I wanted, despite the fact that things didn’t go exactly as planned. When I came home she made me the most delicious foods. It was so good I ate it for every meal for 2 days! Nadrina will definitely be my doula for my next birth! You will be in great hands with her without a doubt!"

  • "I truly feel having Nadrina as my doula was meant to be. Right from our first interaction I knew I had made the best decision! She was kind and calm, which is something I needed as this was my first pregnancy. I had so much anxiety, worrying about possible troubles in the coming months! Nadrina was always validating my concerns and helped me see things in a true and positive light! She made my pregnancy and delivery a dream by making sure I was fully knowledgeable and addressed all of my questions. I wish everyone could have the same beautiful experience as I did!"
