Breanna believes that each step along her path in life has led her to becoming a postpartum and overnight doula. After many years in education, she wanted more autonomy in her pursuit of providing intimate and personalized service to a larger community. Her approach to doula work is centered around hearing the needs of the mother/birthing person so that she may show up best for baby.

Breanna completed her training through Ancient Song, which she selected due to their community justice framework. She is currently studying to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to continue her work in closing the gaps in maternal health outcomes. Breanna revels in the small, tender moments of supporting mothers through postpartum, and has found that her work can at times feel like an afternoon spent lending an ear to a dear friend.

When not running around doing doula work, she is up high wrapped in silks as an aerialist, volunteering at a community farm, embroidering in bed, or finding the perfect recipe for a citrusy dessert.

  • "Breanna is an icredible postpartum and overnight doula - couretous, confident, and always ready to jump in when needed. From the very beginning she made me feel seen, supported and at ease. She made me feel like I had a friend to guide me through the chaos, I loved the boundaries workshop that we did together before baby came. She helped to create a warm, safe environment throughout the whole service. She has a strong expertise in postpartum care and her support allowed us to ground and focus on the moment. I am so grateful to have had her by my side!"

  • "Breanna’s support during one of our first weekends with baby was truly remarkable. Her invaluable support in those early days was essential, as she skillfully assisted with bottle-feeding, soothed baby, and thoughtfully addressed my partner's postpartum requirements. We were grateful for her nourishing homemade meals and soothing herbal remedies, which aided in recovery. The comfort measure workshops were both informative and confidence-building. Breanna infused our home with a sense of peace, expertise, and warmth, making our initial days as parents unforgettable. We deeply appreciate her caring nature and wholeheartedly endorse her services."
