Caitlin is a birth and postpartum doula, a registered nurse, and mom of two. For the past 13 years she has worked as a nurse in the cardiology & intensive care, but birthwork always called to her. In 2016 she took the first steps on her journey and attended the birth of her best friend's first child. She’s been hooked ever since, and after taking a detour into nurse leadership, finally decided to become a birth doula in 2022. She gave birth to her first child later that same year. During her own postpartum experience she became passionate about lactation and is now in the process of becoming an IBCLC.

  • "I’m so grateful to have worked with Caitlin for the birth of my second baby. After a traumatic emergency c-section with my first, I was anxious about trying for a VBAC—but her support made all the difference. She is incredibly knowledgeable, worked seamlessly with the hospital staff, and was a calm, steady presence. I truly believe her guidance and encouragement played a huge role in me being able to have a positive and healing VBAC this time around."

  • "I consider myself to be so lucky to have had Caitlin as my doula. Her knowledge of birth, newborns, and postpartum care, background as a registered nurse, and warm nature set her apart from other candidates we met. During every visit, she made sure to check in on both my emotional and physical recovery from a somewhat complicated birth. Caitlin was knowledgeable and professional, but so warm and respectful - it felt like having a trusted friend helping us. She was a fountain of knowledge, provided fantastic resources and recommendations, and gave my husband and me confidence that we needed."
