Ross is a Postpartum Doula and a Yoga Teacher specializing in helping families transition into new parenthood. Her strengths include supporting families with infant feeding, developing their confidence and skills with a newborn, and encouraging them to ask for what they need in this special time of postpartum. She understands that a caregiver is not just defined by their role as a parent. Ross' goal is to honor all aspects of who her clients are and aid in making this journey into parenthood a joyful one. Whether you're navigating the ups and downs of new parenthood or just need someone to laugh at the absurdity of life with, she's your gal.

Ross is a Certified Postpartum Doula through Whole Body Pregnancy, LLC, and is working to complete her Integrative Lactation and Feeding Specialist certification through Manhattan Birth. Her approach to birth work is inclusive and anti-racist. She identifies as a queer woman and she offers sliding scale fees for birthing people from marginalized communities. She teaches Yoga at Everyone Yoga in Ridgewood, and at Brooklyn Flow in Park Slope. Ross lives with her middle-aged husband, her five-year old daughter and her teenage dog in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

  • "Ross was an integral part of my postpartum recovery support team and early motherhood education. As a mother herself, she has a very special touch with children and knows how to keep them calm and happy. She has a wealth of skills and knowledge -- she even led private yoga instruction for me while she would baby wear my little one, so I could take time to center myself during a very hectic time. I trusted her as a partner through my feeding issues while I navigated working with different specialists -- her support has been invaluable."

  • "Ross is simply wonderful. As my postpartum doula after the birth of my second child, she made a stressful and exhausting period so much easier. Every time she came I was able to relax and rest: she gently helped me determine my priorities, listened to me, helped with food and chores and my older daughter, was a wizard at getting my baby to sleep, had lots of great advice and knowledge, and always reminded me to take care of myself as well as my baby. I so benefited from her care and totally recommend her."
