Vanessa can assist with your entire reproductive journey offering birth and postpartum support. Her care centers ritual, intuition, and radical tenderness. Whether you are birthing, healing, grieving, transitioning, or remembering, their approach is to honor the sacredness of your journey and the lives that are touched by it.

Vanessa’s approach supports families in reclaiming their power, their stories, and their traditions. She believes decolonizing and re-indigenizing birthwork is vital as an advocate in our inequitable healthcare system. Her training and teachers include being certified in birth and postpartum through Madirella, studying under the traditional Andean midwife named Ruro Caituiro Monge, traditional midwife & CPM Naolí Vinaver López and interweaving mesoamerican practices learned under Motse Olsmo, Pānquestzani, and Tecpaxōchitl.

Vanessa will work to ensure your care is evidence based, intentional, and rooted in community - this includes being trauma informed, covid conscious, and antiracist. She will walk alongside you not as a guide above, but as a witness reminding you that you are magic, and that you are medicine.
