Choosing Your Provider and Advocacy Skills - VIRTUAL
Your provider is a big determining factor on how your birth and postpartum experience will go. In this 1hr class we share effective ways in which you can interview and pick your provider. We also explore advocacy skills that can be applied in interactions with your providers. Topics include:
Possible providers for your team (OBGYNs, midwives, homebirth midwives, doulas)
Choosing your birth place
Questions to ask your provider
How to switch providers if needed
How to advocate for yourself during pregnancy, labor and postpartum time
